November 2009, a team of ten Women joined forces with Remember the Children. They spent ten days on the field in Oredea, Romania visiting and ministering to the women of the surrounding Gypsy villages. These villages included Urvind and Telechiu. The team spent time teaching the Gypsy women their value in Christ as well as doing a craft with the women and activities for the children. In addition to the time within the Gypsy villages, the team was able to visit several outreach facilities established by Remember the Children. These included the school for the handicapped (Amichi), a nursing home (Poarta de Grija) and the school in the Gypsy village of Tinca.
